Michael S. CourtnageMr. Courtnage's practice for the past 35 plus years has focused primarily on commercial real estate, with particular emphasis on assisting non-U.S. based clients. He has advised individuals and companies in the structuring and restructuring of entities for, and in the negotiation, acquisition, financing, construction, operation, leasing and ultimate sale of office, shopping center, industrial and mixed use projects and portfolios located throughout the United States, a number of which transactions involved amounts well in excess of $100,000,000. Mr. Courtnage also serves in the role of outside general counsel for a number of corporate and commercial clients. Mr. Courtnage is a graduate of Stanford University Law School and has served as an officer, director and chairperson of sections and committees of the Washington State Bar Association and as a speaker, chairperson and organizer of seminars sponsored by the Washington State Bar Association and other providers.
