Susan A. Kim

Susan Kim has a real estate and business transactions practice working directly with client principals on real estate acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and joint ventures. She advises owners and operators on management agreements for hotels, restaurants, conference centers, childcare centers, water parks and golf courses. She counsels technology, hospitality, retail and non-profit organization clients with respect to their office, industrial, warehouse and retail leases.

In addition to practicing law, Susan is an adjunct instructor for the University of Washington’s Certificate in Commercial Real Estate Program, where she teaches real estate professionals and those in related fields, such as architecture, construction, finance and planning.

Susan is Co-Founder of the Harvard Law School Women’s Alliance of Seattle, Past President of Washington Women in Tax, a member of Commercial Real Estate Women Seattle & Sound (CREW) and served for 9 years on the Board of Directors of Mother Attorneys Mentoring Association of Seattle (MAMAS).

Susan previously served as in-house counsel for Vulcan, Inc. Prior to working at Vulcan, she was an attorney in the Los Angeles offices of Sullivan & Cromwell and Morrison & Foerster. Susan is licensed in Washington, California and Washington, D.C. Susan graduated from Dartmouth College summa cum laude in 1999 and Harvard Law School in 2002.
