Andrew B. Bassetti
For forty years Andy Bassetti’s law practice has emphasized commercial real estate transactions. He has practiced extensively in the areas of real estate financing for lenders and borrowers, commercial leasing for tenants and landlords, real estate sales and acquisitions, and the formation of development joint ventures with institutional investors. He also practices in the areas of general business and corporate law.
Over his career, Andy has been involved in the financing, leasing, sale and development of high-rise office buildings, suburban industrial and office parks, apartment and mixed-use projects and retail shopping centers. He actively represents several large national and regional financial institutions in documenting and closing construction and term loans. His clients include domestic, Canadian and international companies and individuals.
Andy received his Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the University of the Pacific, and his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of California at Davis, where he was elected to The Order of the Coif. He has been named a Washington “Super Lawyer” since 2005, and has been given the highest possible rating (AV) by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory. Andy is also included in the Best Lawyers in America in the specialty of real estate law and named as one of the leading real estate attorneys in Washington state by Chambers USA. Based on his high level of peer recognition, Mr. Bassetti was named one of two “Best Lawyers – Seattle – in Real Estate Law” in the 2013 edition of Seattle’s Best Lawyers.
Andy is a former member of the Board of Trustees of Eastside Catholic School. He enjoys sports of all kinds and in his spare time he likes to ski and hike with his family.
