Charles E. Shigley

Since 1997 Chuck Shigley has counseled clients in connection with commercial real estate transactions and general business law. His practice emphasizes development and finance, primarily representing developers and development interests. He also represents developers, owners, users, purchasers, investors and lenders in all aspects of real estate transactions, including development, leasing, sales and acquisitions, entity formation, joint ventures and financing.

Mr. Shigley graduated from the University of Washington in 1992. He received his law degree, magna cum laude from the University of Idaho in 1996, where he was editor-in-chief of the Idaho Law Review. He was an Extern with the Hon. Eugene A. Wright, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, in 1995, and was a Law Clerk to the Hon Elaine M. Houghton, Washington State Court of Appeals, Division II from 1996-97.

Mr. Shigley is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and served on the Executive Committee of the WSBA Real Property Probate and Trust Section. Since 2004, he has been recognized annually as a Washington “Super Lawyer”. Since 2009, he has been listed as a leading real estate attorney in Washington in the Chambers USA legal directory, which annually interviews firm clients.

Chuck is an active volunteer in the youth Ultimate Frisbee, serving as Treasurer and Business Manager of Seven Hills Ultimate Frisbee Club. He also served on the Board of Trustees and as Secretary of The Center For Wooden Boats.
