Stacy W. Marchesano

Stacy counsels clients through a broad range of real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions of commercial property; commercial leasing of retail, restaurant, office, and industrial space; short-term rentals; residential purchases; and easement agreements. She also advises borrowers and lenders in structuring, documenting, and closing institutional and private equity financing transactions. She represents hospitality clients in owner-operator agreements, license agreements for retail space, and consulting relationships for branded-restaurant concepts. Stacy is passionate about the emerging technologies and trends in real estate and particularly enjoys partnering with clients whose projects live at the intersection of innovation and real property.

She received her B.A. in 2005 from the University of Washington and J.D. in 2008 from the University of Washington School of Law. After law school, Stacy clerked for Justice Warren Jones of the Idaho Supreme Court and Chief Justice Gerry Alexander of the Washington Supreme Court.

Stacy has been involved in her community through ACLU of Washington, MAMA Seattle, NAIOP Washington State, CREW Seattle, Green Tree Early Childhood Center, and the Washington State Bar Association Young Lawyers Committee. She has been a national speaker at the Bisnow Hospitality Summit on The State of Hospitality Construction, Development, Design & Investment In The Bay Area; the Seattle Chapter of the Appraisal Institute Fall Real Estate Conference on Market Disruptors; the Bisnow Pacific Northwest Hotel Summit on Portland & Puget Sound’s Increase In Development, Investment, & Supply; and LMANext on Marketing & Business Development. Stacy is a co-author of the Real Property Practice Chapter (Real Estate Financing and Security Devices). She has been named a Washington Rising Star each year since 2017.
