Susan A. Kim

Susan Kim is a Partner at Alston, Courtnage & Bassetti LLP.

Susan Kim has a real estate and business transactions practice working directly with client principals in a wide range of industries, including commercial real estate, hospitality, technology, retail, and non-profit organizations.  She counsels businesses in a broad range of matters, from commercial leases and real estate purchase and sale transactions to entity formations, owner-operator agreements, and various commercial contracts.  She also has experience in tax and litigation.

Susan previously served as in-house counsel for Vulcan, Inc.  Prior to working at Vulcan, she was an associate in the Los Angeles offices of Sullivan & Cromwell and Morrison & Foerster.

Each spring, Susan teaches the Legal Issues sessions for the University of Washington’s Commercial Real Estate Certificate Program.

Susan is Co-Founder of the Harvard Law School Women’s Alliance of Seattle, past President of Washington Women in Tax, and previously served on the Board of Directors of Mother Attorneys Mentoring Association of Seattle.

Susan graduated from Dartmouth College in 1999 and Harvard Law School in 2002.
